Bags acquired second-hand, or via unauthorized 3rd Party retailers (such as eBay or Amazon) are not eligible for warranty coverage through ORTLIEB USA.

ORTLIEB USA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB USA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB USA for assessment, repair, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the user.
Please contact our Product Service team to submit a warranty inquiry or request a repair. If your product is replaced pursuant to the terms of the warranty, the date of the original purchase shall still apply as the reference date for the 5-year warranty period.

With its padded harness system and waist strap it offers adjustability and excellent ventilation in combination with carrying comfort and perfect fit. The stowaway helmet flap requires little space inside a concealed front pocket. The waterproof Packman further features a roll closure with compression straps for packing and compressed volume. Other features include an integrated pocket for an optional hydration system (not included), and two lateral reflectors for visibility at night and in bad weather conditions.

Can I use a hydration system in the Packman?

Yes, the backpack has a separate compartment for a hydration system as well as a waterproof hose port. However, a hydration system is not included.

How does the helmet attachment work?

The Packman features a practical helmet flap that allows you to attach your helmet to the outside of the backpack. When not in use, the flap can be easily stowed in the front pocket. This keeps your helmet securely in place and saves space inside.

Is the ORTLIEB Packman suitable for longer tours?
