ORTLIEB offers a 5-year limited non-transferable warranty on all new products purchased through an authorized ORTLIEB retailer against manufacture defect.
ORTLIEB also offers a 1-year limited non-transferable warranty on all repairs performed by ORTLIEB USA.

Bags acquired second-hand, or via unauthorized 3rd Party retailers (such as eBay or Amazon) are not eligible for warranty coverage through ORTLIEB USA.

ORTLIEB USA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB USA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB USA for assessment, repair, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the user.
Please contact our Product Service team to submit a warranty inquiry or request a repair. If your product is replaced pursuant to the terms of the warranty, the date of the original purchase shall still apply as the reference date for the 5-year warranty period.

Screw set for reattaching components to your bag in four versions:

The “QL2.1/QL2.2 rail” version with metric screws (SKU E232) is used for bike bags with the QL2.1 or QL2.2 system to attach the upper rail.

The “QL2.1/QL2.2 universal” version (SKU E205) is also mainly used for bike bags with the QL2.1 or QL2.2 system, but is used there to attach the lower edge protection or the central auxiliary closure. The screws are also used on other bike and travel bags, such as the Seat-Pack or the Duffle RS.

If you have an older bike bag and want to make it usable again, then the “QL1/QL2 universal” version with cap nuts (SKU E102) could be the right choice for you. The screw set replaces the existing screws for attaching components to bike bags with the QL1 or QL2 system. The screws are also used on backpacks such as the Velocity or Commuter Daypack models.

With the “QL1 rail” variant (item number E10), you can screw the hooks from first-generation ORTLIEB bags with the QL1 system back onto the rail.
