ORTLIEB also offers a 1-year limited non-transferable warranty on all repairs performed by ORTLIEB USA.

Bags acquired second-hand, or via unauthorized 3rd Party retailers (such as eBay or Amazon) are not eligible for warranty coverage through ORTLIEB USA.

ORTLIEB USA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB USA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB USA for assessment, repair, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the user.
Please contact our Product Service team to submit a warranty inquiry or request a repair. If your product is replaced pursuant to the terms of the warranty, the date of the original purchase shall still apply as the reference date for the 5-year warranty period.

The waterproof Ultimate Plus handlebar bag is the perfect place to stow your things while keeping them at the ready whenever you need them. Depending on the model, this durable handlebar bag made of waterproof Cordura fabric offering you the space you need for items you need to be able to access quickly. The smallest of the Ultimate Plus models distinguishes itself in terms of its transparent, user-friendly and rainproof flap compartment that enables to secure your smartphone, GPS device and roadmap. You can naturally operate your touchscreen device through the transparent cover. The two larger models enable the use of different inserts in case you want to stow any special gear such as your high-performance camera while you’re underway. What all three models have in common is convenience. You can open the flap with a single hand, thanks to its magnetic closure, and closing it again is virtually automatic. The detachable shoulder strap transforms your handlebar bag into a convenient shoulder bag as soon as you reach your destination.

Which handlebar mount is right for me?

That depends on your bike. For classic handlebars, the standard adapter is suitable — it is stable and easy to install. If you want to secure your bag further, choose the version with a lock. For e-bikes with a display in the center, the e-bike mount is ideal because it offers more space.

If you want to use your bag on different bikes with only one mount, you can also use the Mounting-Set QR, which is not permanently attached to the bike.

If you already have an ORTLIEB or Rixen & Kaul mount, you usually do not need to buy an additional one. However, check compatibility beforehand using our compatibility overview.
