ORTLIEB USA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB USA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB USA for assessment, repair, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the user.

Fork-Pack Plus

Made of abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric and weighing just 325 grams including the adapter, the Fork-Pack Plus offers 5.8 L of additional storage space for your next bike adventure. With the help of the Quick-Lock S adapter, this ultra-light bag with roll closure can be mounted on forks with mounts provided for this purpose, as well as on forks without accessory mounts, as long as the fork legs have an untapered diameter between 30 and 42 mm. The Fork-Pack Plus can be attached or removed from the mounted adapter plate single-handedly in a matter of seconds. The Fork-Pack is made of PVC-free nylon fabric and sustainably produced in Germany.
Attention: Not suitable for tapered forks or carbon forks without accessory mounts.

Risk of injury from sharp edges! Use the enclosed shrink tubing and round off the edges at the ends, if the steel bands have been shortened to minimize the danger.
Risk of injury due to loosening parts and material fatigue! Refrain from jumping with the bike while the product is mounted on it.
Risk of injury due to loose components on the product. Screws can loosen over time due to vibrations. Therefore, check the screws after 10 km, 50 km, 100 km and 200 km and retighten if necessary.
Risk of injury due to material breakage if overloaded! Do not exceed the maximum payload of 3 kg. If necessary, weigh your load to ensure that you do not exceed the maximum payload.
Risk of injury if used with non-compatible forks! The product cannot be used with forks without bolt-on points that have tapered tubes or tubes made of carbon.

Can I use the Fork-Pack on a carbon fork?

The Fork-Pack can generally be used on carbon forks if they have the required three M5 mounts. Be sure to use the carbon protector or the special inserts as described in the instructions.

What is the hole spacing of the QLS adapter plate?

The three mounting points of the Quick-Lock S adapter follow the common industry standard for fork mounts and have a hole spacing of 64 mm.

Is it possible to mount the Quick-Lock S adapter plate using only two threaded eyelets?

Yes, this is generally possible. If your fork has only two threaded eyelets, you can still mount the adapter plate. The two outer holes of the bracket are sufficient to secure the bag. However, for optimal stability, we recommend using all three mounting points if available.

Can the ORTLIEB Fork-Pack also be mounted on forks with uneven tube diameters or without eyelets?

The Fork-Pack can be mounted on forks both with and without eyelets. The requirement is a consistent tube diameter between 30 and 42 mm. If your fork has no mounting eyelets, you can use the included metal straps for secure attachment. The system is not suitable for unevenly shaped or tapered fork tubes.
