ORTLIEB USA accepts no liability for any claims relating to normal wear and tear, improper product use, failure to follow assembly or mounting instructions, product modifications, or improper storage. The warranty does not cover material abrasion, holes, tears, cuts, or other damages that occur as a result of an external variable or event (i.e. bicycle accident).

ORTLIEB USA does not assume responsibility for the cost of shipping an item to ORTLIEB USA for assessment, repair, or replacement. That cost is the responsibility of the user.

The solution also works for those who have full-suspension mountain bikes with limited triangle space. The Toptube Frame-Pack provides plenty of space for heavy equipment such as tent poles, tools and food supplies, while also helping to secure a low center for improved rising performance. And given that the bag and its Tizip zipper are waterproof, you can even cross rivers on your bikepacking tour without worrying about your stuff getting wet. The Frame-Pack attaches easily to your top tube and seat tube with the help of sturdy and highly adhesive hook and loop straps.

Can I mount the Frame-Pack on a carbon frame?

Yes, the Frame-Pack can also be mounted on carbon frames. We recommend applying protective film at the contact points to avoid abrasion and damage.

How compatible is the Frame-Pack with different bicycle frames?

The Frame-Pack can be easily attached to most bicycle frames thanks to its variably positionable hook-and-loop fasteners. The robust, high-grip straps are simply fixed to the top tube, seat tube, and down tube and can be individually adjusted or shortened. To check whether the Frame-Pack in your desired size fits your bike, you’ll find a printable template in the “Downloads” section. Cut it out and place it on your frame triangle to see immediately whether the bag fits perfectly.

Should I choose the roll-top or zipper version of the ORTLIEB Frame-Pack?

Both closure variants are waterproof and designed for tough bikepacking use, but differ in their IP waterproof rating, handling, and access to contents. The zipper version allows particularly quick access, ideal if you frequently need tools or food on the go. The roll-top version offers a larger opening and makes loading and unloading easier, especially with bulky gear like tent poles or cookware.
